CANADA-CARICOM LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION

The Government of Canada announces the 2009-2010 Competition of the Students Exchange

Program. This program provides CARICOM students with research or study scholarships for

four to six months and is predicated on exchange agreements between Canadian and CARICOM

instititutions. The two streams of scholarships available:

GSEP: Graduate Student Exchange Program

For graduate-level CARICOM students to undertake research at a public Canadian university or

affiliated research institute.

DURATION: 4 months 5 or 6 months


VALUE: $7500 $10,000

CUSEP: College and Undergraduate Student Exchange Program

For CARICOM students at the college and undergraduate level to undertake study at Canadian

public universities or colleges.

DURATION: 4 months


VALUE: $7,500

Canadian institutions must apply on behalf of CARICOM  students*

*CARICOM institutions are encouraged to contact Canadian institutions with

whom they have exchange agreements in order to assist in facilitating the  exchange for their students.
